Saturday, July 2, 2016 was the beginning of an exciting new journey for my daughter Mariana with Oxford Learning Bradford. A few days prior to that morning my daughter had received her final school report card from SK. As I began reading through it, I became very disheartened by most of the comments and reviews. Mariana was having many difficulties in most of her reading, spelling, writing and even her math abilities. After taking it all in, I realized I had no time to waste. I did some thorough research and asked around about where I could get her some help and Oxford Learning seemed to be the name that kept coming up. That Saturday morning I called them thinking they would be closed for the long weekend. On the contrary, a very warm, friendly, and comforting lady by the name of Lisa picked up the phone. I knew just a few minutes into our conversation, this was going to be the right place for my daughter to receive all the help she would need. Lisa was very comforting and understanding during our conversation, as I was very emotional at the time. We set up an appointment to meet, and had my daughter's assessment done and it all began from there. Mariana has been a student now at Oxford Learning for just under one year and her progress has been incredible. Her confidence levels have improved tremendously. She continues to go weekly and works with her teachers on her reading and her writing, and is continuing to learn new word patterns, new vocabulary words, and she continues to work on her tasks in her various workbooks. The environment at Oxford Learning is a very calm and positive one, with continued encouragement and positive reinforcement from the staff. My daughter thoroughly enjoys going to her classes and she comes home with a great attitude and excited about what she has learned. Thank you to you all for being there when we needed you the most.

His confidence, pride, self motivation all have progressed well over half. He is like a whole new kid. He loves going and he gets so much from it. The tutors are very personable and patient with my son. They are extremely accommodating with his schedule. My son has actually asked us if he could drop out of public school and go to Oxford Learning full time! He loves it there that much and is getting so much from learning there. He now actually wants to learn to read and write, he is now trying to read and write and all thanks and so much more goes to Lisa and her tutors at Oxford Learning. I highly recommend Oxford Learning and this location to anyone thinking of putting their child into tutoring trust me you will be so happy you did. Oxford Learning Centre is an amazing place where students can get the tools and skills they need to succeed academically. We were feeling bad for our son who was struggling with math and we were unable to help him. Oxford Learning has given him more confidence with his math skills and he now feels ready to tackle grade 11 math. He also really liked his tutor! The program they have there is structured well and can be applied to any test or course your child might have, even into college.
Oxford Learning assessed our son and concluded that somewhere in some past lessons he had never really understood a necessary building block to advance in his math skills. Oxford Learning went back to that area, assisted him to understand it and now he has moved forward. Not only is he learning beyond his present grade level, but he is also enjoying math! He also has great respect for his instructors that have assisted him along the way. If your child is in a similar predicament I would recommend looking into using Oxford Learning.
