Sachit Dhiman, B.A.

Centre Director

Sachit joined the Oxford Learning team at Rosedale in February 2024. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Psychology from Queen's University. During his undergraduate career, Sachit mentored Psychology students and was an academic coach for students grappling with academic challenges. His experience in mentorship has cultivated a passion for helping students achieve cognitive and academic skills to succeed in their academic careers and personal lives. 

Kristy Yu, B.A.

Education Director

Kristy has been at the Oxford Learning team at Rosedale since August 2021. Kristy graduated from Glendon College with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, where her passion lies in mental health and education. Kristy strives to teach learners the techniques and skills that promote critical thinking, resilience, and personal development. She specializes in teaching ESL and French with experience in Early Childhood Education. 

Outside of the Center, Kristy enjoys simple pleasures like drinking coffee and exploring the city. She’s looks forward to working with your child in the near future!

Camryn MacDonald, B.A.

Education Coordinator

Camryn joined the Rosedale Oxford Learning team in April 2024. She graduated from Toronto Metropolitan University with a degree in Early Childhood Studies. Throughout her degree, she has worked with children of all ages, from infancy and toddlers to junior and intermediate ages, tutoring, supporting development, conducting research, and creating and implementing curriculum. Camryn draws from her experience as an educator and from her experiences growing up to create an accepting, kind, lighthearted, and supportive learning environment that fosters curiosity and natural learning. She believes that the whole-child approach is a great way to support all types of learners regardless of where they are in their learning journey. Her pedagogical philosophy is that learning shouldn’t be too serious; kids need to have fun learning and be goofy (and so do the administration team and the educators).

In her spare time, Camryn enjoys listening to global music, trying her hand at different cuisines, going for long walks exploring the city, hitting the city rinks during the cold months, watching sunsets during the warm ones, drinking coffee, and dancing in the kitchen.

Nat Domegan, BA(c)

Beyond Tutoring & Advantage Teacher

Nat joined Oxford Learning in January 2022. They are currently attending school at the University of Toronto and are majoring in English and education. They have been tutoring for many years in a variety of subjects and a range of grade levels. They were also a French immersion student, where they developed a passion for learning languages they hope to share with their students. In their spare time, Nat likes to read, bake, write short stories, and cycle!

Natalie Posella, B.A., B. Ed.

Little Readers & Beyond Tutoring Teacher

Natalie has been with the Oxford Learning team at Rosedale since May 2022. Natalie graduated from the University of Toronto Mississauga with a Bachelor of Arts Specialist in Criminology, becoming a strong advocate for social justice and equity for all. Natalie graduated from Teachers College at York University, earning her Bachelor of Education Degree. Natalie works hard to ensure all can thrive and develop lifelong skills to help her students succeed in their learning.

Beyond the classroom and tutoring, Natalie enjoys spending time with her family, reading and going on outdoor adventures. She is excited to get to know and work with you at Rosedale Oxford Learning!

Amelia Pitchay, BA (Hons.), MSc.

Little Readers & Beyond Tutoring Teacher

Amelia Pitchay joined Oxford Learning Rosedale in September 2022. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Sociology and Art History from the University of Toronto and a Masters of Sciences in Sociological Research from the University of Manchester. She has contributed to cultural, religious, education, identity formation and preservation, and linguistics research. 

Passionate about better access to education, Amelia volunteers as a tutor and teaching assistant at the Toronto Centre of Learning & Development’s (TCLD) Academic Upgrading Program in Regent Park, Toronto. She is also currently a fellow at the University of Toronto’s Leading Social Justice Fellowship, where she and her team are helping to make financial literacy more accessible to immigrant women. 

As an Oxford educator, Amelia is determined to help her students enjoy learning through creative and interactive means to develop further their critical thinking, interpersonal skills, confidence, and creative problem-solving. Outside of Oxford, Amelia is a voracious reader who enjoys baking cookies at midnight during winter.

Arhan Rupani, B.Sc.(c)

Advantage Teacher

Arhan joined the Oxford Learning family in October 2022.

He is pursuing a specialist Computer Science degree at the University of Toronto. He is a passionate teaching enthusiast who has been working in the STEM discipline for over two years. His teaching philosophy revolves around igniting students' curiosity and passion for STEM subjects through innovative and engaging teaching methods. He achieved a significant milestone during the summer with Oxford Learning, where he successfully designed and taught a university-level calculus course to senior students called the Summer Math University Prep Course (SMPC). He plans to pursue research and academia upon post-graduation.

Tirth Vyas, B.Sc(c)

Advantage Teacher

Hi everyone! I'm Tirth Vyas, an Aerospace Engineering student at York University. I have a special inclination towards physics, mathematics, engineering, and space. The enthusiasm to teach these subjects brings me here! I am a new teacher at Oxford Learning, primarily teaching math and physics students. Outside of school, I enjoy playing cricket, badminton, and football and reading non-fiction books.

Emily Doyle, B.A, M.Ed(c)

French & Advantage Teacher

Hi, I'm Emily! I'm an aspiring French teacher currently studying for a Master's of Education at the University of Toronto, specializing in language and literacies. I did my BA in English rhetoric and French studies at the University of Waterloo. After spending some time at the Oxford Learning Waterloo location, I was excited to continue my journey with the Rosedale family! I believe in getting students excited about their studies to encourage their engagement and further their learning. 

In my free time, I'm a voracious knitter (check out my cool mittens once the snow comes), and I love to read and bake.

Jeong Hwang B.Sc.(c)

Beyond Tutoring & Advantage Teacher

Jeong is currently studying Chemical Engineering at the University of Toronto. He has a strong interest in research and plans to pursue postgraduate education in Engineering. Jeong has experience teaching youth and children in diverse settings, including schools, homes, and museums. His goal is to help students develop critical thinking skills so they can effectively apply their knowledge to solve problems. In his tutoring sessions, Jeong fosters a supportive learning environment where everyone can learn at their own pace and receive instruction tailored to their needs. When he's not teaching or studying, Jeong enjoys playing chess, reading, and jogging.
