* Our services are not designed for temporary or intermittent attendance; we consider our role long-term. Progress can only be achieved through consistent scheduled attendance. Just like in sports, where routine practice is necessary, regular learning builds healthy habits and long-term benefits.
PODs Small-Group Supplemental Education Program
ELEMENTARY AND SECONDARY STUDENTS
Studies have shown that young people require active socialization to develop good social habits and maintain positive mental health. The Oxford Learning PODs* program provides a small-group (no more than six students) learning environment where students can focus on their academics and still be among their peers.
Students work on their individualized programs within a set group during half-day sessions. POD classes run during morning sessions (9:00-12:00) or afternoon sessions (12:30-3:30). Full-day options are also available.
►Student to teacher ratio of 6:1
►Flexible schedules with classes 2-5 days per week
►Morning or afternoon sessions
►Individualized programming combined with virtual learning support
►Positive socialization in a safe, clean, and controlled environment
*POD students are required to be enrolled in either an approved home school or an accredited school virtual learning program. The PODs program is intended not to replace but rather to supplement students’ home school or virtual learning curriculum.

Assessment and Enrolment
Assessment is the first step in our enrolment process for very good reasons! It provides us with the best starting point to help individual students and ensures that students' valuable time and money are never taken for granted. Each assessment takes approximately 2.5 hours and is provided in English; math and French skills are assessed as requested and at no additional cost.
Following the assessment, the results are analyzed and an appropriate individualized learning program is recommended and discussed before we schedule classes.
