I have been working for Oxford Learning Centre for over 10 years. I am passionate about educating children and youth in the best way possible. I have come from a background in working with individuals who have different needs. I have a Bachelor of Arts with a concentration in sociology, which was obtained through Laurentian University. I am a mother of two who understands and values a strong parental involvement. As such, when not at the centre you may find me supporting my children at the dance studio, playing at the park or having a family adventure.

I have taught at Oxford Learning for just over a year as a French teacher, Little Readers teacher and a variety of other positions as need has arisen. I have had a life long dream of teaching and my experience at Oxford Learning has been exciting, challenging and deeply fulfilling as I observe the difference we make in children's lives. I completed my B.A. with a double major in French and Spanish, which afforded me the opportunity to study in both Spain and France. This experience has given me an appreciation for different cultures and fuelled my passion for language. When I am not teaching at Oxford Learning I am usually relaxing with a good book or spending quality time with my fiancé and my cats.

I have been working for Oxford Learning Centre since September 2010. I have a Masters Degree in Biology and am a certified teacher. I teach high school math, science, and Little Readers. I have a passion for teaching and have had the experience of working in the school systems in Canada and the United States. My experience as an Oxford Learning teacher led to the opportunity to be an Education Director for an Oxford Learning Centre for a maternity leave. I am excited to be back at Oxford Learning Barrie to allow me to continue to help children and youth within the Barrie community. When not teaching I can be found at the training centre, training my horses, playing ball hockey, and enjoying time with friends.
